How to Use a Gravatar to Brand Your Direct Sales Business Opportunity

If you’ve been blogging or on the web long enough, you may have noticed those profile pictures whenever you see a comment. It’s called a Gravatar. What’s great about having a gravatar is that it’s in sync with other logs.

Meaning, once you have a picture of you uploaded to Gravatar, whenever you leave a comment on a blog, a picture aka your gravatar automatically shows up by your name. A gravatar is globally recognized that works from site to site … pretty cool isn’t it?

It’s free to get a gravatar and here’s how to use a gravatar to help brand your direct sales business opportunity.

1. Go to Gravatar and sign up for free.
2. When you get a confirmation through your email, just follow the link, and set up your account.
3. Upload a picture of you and save it.
4. It’ll take about 5 minutes to activate.
5. To test it out, feel free to leave a comment on my blog after a few minutes, and you should see a profile picture of you.

Why do you need a gravatar?

You don’t necessarily need it but if you’re planning on commenting on blogs, it’s a great way to brand you. Plus, it’s free!

Remember, my goal is to help you brand YOU first and having a gravatar helps people to put a name to a face. If you comment often in your niche market i.e. direct sales blogs, this will re-affirm the know, like and trust, with your prospects.
